Child Health
Children under the age of 16 are eligible for free health care at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the Polyclinics.
They also receive free drugs from the Barbados Drug Formulary at participating dispensaries or from a government dispensary.
Children with special needs can be seen at the Children Development Centre at Jemmotts Lane, St. Michael. Children with mental health issues (behavioural/anger issues, etc) can be seen at the Child Guidance Clinic at the Branford Taitt Polyclinic in Black Rock. See our section on Child Mental Health.
