There are a number of private schools in Barbados offering primary and secondary education.

 

All primary schools prepare students for the same 'Common Entrance Exam' (CEE) that is usually taken around the age of eleven and they all wear school uniforms. 

The secondary schools work towards the Caribbean Examination Council Exams at general level (CSEC) and schools with a sixth form offer advance tuition towards the advance level examinations referred to as CAPE.
