Participate In This Exciting Reading Competition

Children are invited to read a book of their choice and submit a book review to enter this reading competition.

 

  The book review must be submitted on video by the participant and accompanied by a script telling us about the book.

The book review is a brief summary of the book and can include, but not limited to, the following:

​

• Your name, age, date of birth, school that you attend, 

• The name of the Author of the book and the kind of book it is (Adventure, non fiction, fantasy, science, etc.) and you can say if it is a part of a series.

• The main characters.

• The plot - this is important because you would want to give the reader a feel for the book, but not too much information.

• Why did you find the book interesting and did it have a particular message for you?

• Invite other children to read the book.

All videos will be placed on our web site and judging will be done by a panel of judges.  Deadline for enties is 23 May, 2022.

Children will be judge in three categories:

 

• Under 11,

• 12-14 and

• 15-18. 

 

 

Trophies will be presented to top three in each category. All participants will receive certificates of participation and several other prizes will be shortly revealed.

Awards will be presented on 31st May.
