Young Achievers Awards   

sports, academics, music, singing, art, volunteer work, service clubs, debating

These awards are opened to children across the island of Barbados who have not yet reached their 18th birthday by 31st May, 2023 and who have been excelling in academics, sports, the arts, service clubs, debating, volunteers and or vocational pursuits. 

Participants must have made a contribution in the form of service to their community, school or country which includes representing the school or country in any field.

 

We want to hear from children who have managed ‘well’ despite difficult challenges.

All participants must present their achievements in a video and it must be accompanied by a typed bio. 

The dead-line for the submission of videos is 01 April, 2023.  All videos will be posted on our face book page and web site and judged by a panel of 4 judges. 

Children will be judge in three categories:

 

• Under 11

• 12-14 and

• 15-18. 

​

• Trophies will be presented to top three in each category on 31st May.  Other special prizes will be announced shortly.
